With a strong Q3 results, Ram Rahim, the CEO of networking major is optimistic about the opportunities in the cloud--especially as cloud providers recognize that their data center networks and wide area networks are crucial for delivering a seamless experience demanded by the customers."Our deliberate focus on the cloud opportunity has resulted in a fast-growing data center switching portfolio over the past three years, and I believe we now have a complete portfolio that is going to help us continue to grow our switching business in the future," Rahim said at the company's earnings call last month.As more and more businesses embrace the cloud, Juniper Networks is formulating strategies to power this transformation, and in turn grow its business. The company has invested in the development of new products and now has a diversified portfolio. For instance, in June 2016, the company announced the Juniper Networks Cloud-Enabled Branch to deliver on-demand cloud services. According to Juniper, this solution will "allow enterprises and managed service providers alike to seamlessly create and automate delivery of branch office networking services on-demand." It will also help them to accelerate the deployment of real-time services and applications. Juniper is also betting high on its Contrail Software Defined Networking (SDN) controller that brings together a scale-out framework and physical routers and switches to scale infrastructures beyond data center boundaries to offer workload mobility in a hybrid environment.With these new strategies and products in place, Juniper Networks is foreseeing a strong growth in the coming quarters. As such, the company's vast network of partners will have a key role to play in the journey--by helping clients seamlessly adopt and integrate Juniper Networks' solutions into their enterprise landscape.
