| | June 20176CIOReviewOffice 365 is fast becoming the cloud-application of choice for businesses around the world. Enabling cloud transformation across SMBs and large enterprises, it is turning IT into a strategic advantage by increasing the business accessibility, flexibility, and efficiency. The Redmond giant's recent earning report says it all. The company's revenue in productivity and business applications stood at $7.4 Bn, up by 10 percent, a big driver of which was Office 365. With an impressive 85 million monthly active users for Office 365, Microsoft is expecting the figure to touch 100 Mn in 2017.Microsoft is doing all that is needed to keep the momentum going for Office 365. The company is addressing the most pressing issues--security, privacy, and operations--in the cloud environments today with a deft hand. In February, this year, Microsoft rolled out a new security feature, Secure Score, which provides a score to the user's current Office 365 configuration, offering insights on where they stand on the security front. Another complementing feature is Office 365 Threat Intelligence that leverages billion of data points from Microsoft Intelligent Security Graph to provide information about cyber threats. Fortifying the security further is the Office 365 Advanced Data Governance, which employs machine learning in defense of its customers' data. The company is also offering an entirely new experience of collaboration with its Microsoft Teams that brings together people, conversations, and content. They also have Microsoft Bot Framework that can surface in chat channels--Skype, Facebook Messenger, Kik and more--serving as proxies for queries, enabling quicker actions. Office 365 has many things going in favor that includes Microsoft's huge partner network. In the words of Satya Nadella, CEO, "Microsoft has always been a partner-led company, and we'll always be a partner-led company. What makes it all possible is your passion, your commitment, and your drive to make us better." In this scenario, our goal with this special edition is to highlight the Microsoft Partners like Ryantech, a certified Microsoft cloud solutions partner with multiple gold and silver competencies, offering comprehensive system migration services to further their clients' Microsoft Office 365 implementation initiatives. This edition also blends thought leadership from subject matter experts with real stories on what selected vendors are doing for their clients, including exclusive insights from CIOs and CXOs.
