"We can inform the administrator of any problem ahead of time and fix it even before the patient knows about it. In a nutshell, through our proactive approach, we empower administrators to make the right choices in real-time and ensure high client satisfaction," states Schwartz. The mobile app enables clinicians to see the best route for their daily schedule and access relevant patient information. Further, clinicians can predefine communication, availability, and work-location preferences, receive upcoming appointment reminders, and provide notification of absenteeism or late arrival. Additionally, the app empowers workers to preview and select additional appointments to enable them to meet their daily/weekly targets, providing them with significant scheduling flexibility and work-life balance. Apart from home healthcare, GigFlex offers its SaaS solutions to enterprises in agency staffing, special events, and transportation, enabling clients to quickly generate a positive ROI. Schwartz highlights an instance from the event sector. The GigFlex mobile app was deployed by the Western & Southern Open to volunteers working at the 2019 ATP/WTA tennis tournament. The tournament utilizes over 1200 volunteers from caterers to Marshals responsible for player security. The GigFlex administrator app enabled the command center to track the location of each Marshal on-site, and quickly identify when a post was unmanned, or a Marshal was at a different location from that to which he/she had been assigned at that point in time. For instance, if a volunteer was in the food court instead of the assigned post at the west-gate, GigFlex could notify and ask the volunteer to immediately move to the west-gate. The GigFlex mobile app for volunteers helped them to automatically checkin and receive their daily rotation assignments directly on their smartphone. The app also helped volunteers receive alerts and notifications, adjust their schedules, and communicate directly via the command center. The company conducted a survey after the event, and over 60 percent of supervisors agreed that GigFlex significantly improved security and workforce utilization. Furthermore, over 50 percent of the volunteers using the app mentioned that they would be more likely to recommend the tournament as a volunteer opportunity because of the GigFlex app. Moving forward, GigFlex plans to harness the opportunities in integrating home healthcare and telemedicine. Both industries are projected to rapidly grow over the next few years, with growth currently accelerating due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This integration is relevant because telemedicine has shortcomings that can be overcome with home healthcare. For instance, when patients go to a clinic, their vitals are checked, including temperature, blood-pressure, and O2 levels before they see the doctor, and additional patient-touch services (e.g., blood tests, nasal swabs) may be ordered by the doctor. However, in telemedicine, if patients have to travel to a clinic for patient-touch services, it defeats the purpose. GigFlex, through its groundbreaking technology, can seamlessly schedule home healthcare clinicians to provide pre/post telemedicine appointment services, ensuring an optimal patient experience."The future of medicine is not to replace the 100 percent in-office experience with a 100 percent virtual experience, but to ensure that in-office medical services can be efficiently and effectively delivered to the home. We believe that we are in the optimal position to deliver a seamless customer experience between telemedicine and home healthcare, and that's exactly where the future is headed," concludes Schwartz. We combine real-time automation and Geo-Intelligent Scheduling technology to empower employers as well as workers to optimize workforce utilization and performance
