The success of consumer tablets has paved way for popularity of rugged devices. The current customers prefer to use devices without having to worry about whether a drop would break the device or if exposure to sunlight or water could be harmful. With indulgence towards a mobile lifestyle, the expectations from a tablet are much more, and not restricted to games or checking mails, instead the devices have to function as a primary computer. The success and proliferation of Android devices in the consumer industry, has led to the Android showing continuous penetration into the enterprise marketplace. In addition, consumers are enamored with the quick boot time of tablets, which further forces operating systems to function with utmost perfection.
