The most significant event, however, was the coming together of Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft Corp. and Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite. The CEOs announced a partnership to bring NetSuite's products to Microsoft's cloud. This means that NetSuite will part away from its historic partnership with Amazon where the former leveraged Amazon Web Services as its preferred cloud deployment option. By the year end, the migration to Azure is set to commence, and with it, NetSuite users will be able to seamlessly connect to Office 365. Another major announcement was the unveiling of Android Mobile App for NetSuite, which will include the three main parts of NetSuite's platform, namely CRM, ERP and eCommerce. With these smart moves, the company is aligning itself with consumerization of IT, and is aiming to outperform its rivals including Salesforce. The Silicon Valley's sassy cloud provider is also building a data center in Europe, where there is surge in demand around data residency¬the obligation to keep customer's data inside their native country for security. Additionally, NetSuite has also launched SuiteCommerce InStore for retailers which have "comprehensive omnichannel capabilities." NetSuite has been a front runner in enabling organizations to migrate from "antiquated on-premise software of another age" to NetSuite's agile, scalable comprehensive suite of software that is easy to use and deploy. The company is venturing into more verticals by strategic acquisitions and by driving innovation. In this journey, NetSuite's partners will have a huge role in ensuring that they address the varied challenges of NetSuite's customers. On that note, we present to you a special edition on NetSuite. In this issue we are featuring 20 Most Promising NetSuite Solutions providers. The chosen 20 are the ones that help customers using NetSuite products optimize their technology investments and deploy new capabilities.
