This trend of private cloud networking is going to accelerate the CIO's acceptance of moving applications into the cloud provided they have a vendor who provides secure access to select applications. Globalization - The Trend Stays On National firms are turning multinational each day and are launching their work areas globally; this trend of globalization has reached to the next level and consequently the opening of either owned or partner locations around the world is placing greater demand on multinational cloud networks. This trend in the industry has benefitted many firms worldwide. For multinational and large national businesses however, the greatest dilemma has been whether to move their critical ICT applications from their back office projects to a public cloud. The answer to this may be the compelling economic survey which when paired with a highly reliable secured cloud network will actually continue to accelerate the adoption of cloud computing services making it a critical aspect. The world is becoming smaller and enterprises large and small are finding it to be highly beneficial to open points of presence around the globe. They are searching for communication firms who can help them deal with the challenges in data networks or unified communications across all locations and also consequently help them deal with the globalization of their business.Harnessing Productivity ImprovementsPossessing a tremendous visibility into the growth in traffic volume in the communication world, we are looking at new and interesting ways of harnessing productivity improvements driven by communications technology. The challenge that still remains is to drive more productivity with scarce resources. For entrepreneurs and business leaders, the biggest challenge is to deal with the concept of harnessing productivity investment and making the most of scarce resources. As we continue to live in a capital constrained world, the most important task upfront will be to convert the capital into a yielding investment. By putting across an expensive network infrastructure and by using the power of cloud computing companies combined with the power of cloud networking companies, one can harness productivity improvement by allowing a far richer and deeper set of applications for their employees without tremendous investment. We at GTT have implemented more powerful networks combined with access to any application in any public data center in the world and we have seen them increase the productivity of the workforce without significant increment in capital investment. This has always been the challenge that most of the entrepreneurs have been facing time and again. (As told to Derek James) For entrepreneurs and business leaders, the biggest challenge is to deal with harnessing productivity investment and making the most of scarce resources
